Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will assist in the overall management of the restaurant. Responsibilities You will assist in managing day to day operations in mainly restaurant and take away areas and assist in the management of the kitchen if requiredBasic food preparation, ordering and stock controlAssist the Restaurant Manager with rosters, payroll and other adminLead a team of up to 15 front of house and back of house staffTraining, developing and motivating the team to successAssist with all compliance checks and ensure our high food hygiene standards are maintained Requirements 2:3 years experience in a similar role and in a busy restaurant or take:awayCustomer focused, with experience mainly working in front of house positionsAn assertive, hands on manager and able to work well under pressureHard working, punctual and willingness to get your hands dirtyA team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach to work.A passionate individual, who is looking to develop with a progressive hospitality group.For further information, please call Jamie Pearson (Group HR Manager) on or apply with CV and covering letter. The person to suit must be experienced in fresh produce Should also possess NVQ level 1 and 2 or equivalent, and hygiene certificate.
