Their nursery is a homely setting offering a warm and friendly environment for your child.They provide high-quality childcare with Learning & Development and Health & Well Being our top priority in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.Our client is recruiting for a qualified Nursery Practitioners and Room Leaders to join their team at their Nursery in Newbury Park, Ilford on a permanent basis.They are looking to recruit for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who can bring unique skills and innovation to our nurseries.Purpose of the Nursery Practitioner/ Room leader:To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting. To give support to their staff within the setting.To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.Qualifications:Essential:Min of a relevant and recognised Level two qualificationExperience in working with childrenExperience of working in an early years settingKnowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding, Childcare Act 2006Knowledge of Child Development and children’s needsAbility to work with parents/carers/families to encourage partnership workingAbility to communicate well with adults and childrenAbility to work as part of a teamUnderstanding of Equal OpportunitiesAwareness of Health & Safety and practical Hygiene issuesAbility, flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities or duties as deemed necessary.Desirable:Min of a relevant and recognised Level three qualificationEvidence of ongoing personal development trainingDesire to continue with professional developmentTo gain a recognised Professional Status i.e. Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)Recent Paediatric 1st Aid certificateBasic Food HygieneExperience of implementation of EYFSExperience of working in partnership with parentsAbility to write legiblyGood presentation skillsPossess a level of general computer literacy with a range of IT skills.Good organisational skillsAbility to demonstrate creative abilities.If you feel that you meet the above criteria of the role then please apply now!
