We are seeking a Neuro Diversity Coach to provide a professional coaching service to our 3SC customers, using professional coaching, mentoring, and training approaches. Your role will primarily be working on our Neurodiversity Programme in Probation Offices across the West Midlands, where you will be providing in-person/face-to-face coaching for neurodiverse offenders and providing training and support to staff with their neurodiverse participants. You may also be asked to work on other programmes, coaching neurodiverse people working both face-to-face and online (virtually). You will deliver to a range of customers including people in work, unemployed as well as those on probation. Most of the time you will be working from Probation Offices in the West Midlands. Please note, that this is not a role that can be delivered virtually as face-to-face delivery is required. Responsibilities Providing one-to-one support or coaching and positively influencing other people’s professional or personal development. Delivering to specified targets, quality standards and compliance measures. Using motivational and action planning techniques to manage the progression of customers. Assessing strengths and weaknesses in a participant's performance and identifying areas for further development. Adapting to the needs and interests of group or individual participants. Communicating instructions and commands using clear, simple language. Inspiring confidence and self-belief. Working with IT resources to monitor and measure performance. Implementing tailored, person-centred programmes. Maintaining excellent records. Measuring and reporting customer outcomes using methodologies including distance travelled tools. Understanding the contract/operations manual and meeting all contractual requirements. Attendance at internal and external meetings. Facilitating best practice events and providing supervision/supporting other coaches. Working with the 3SC Team on new contracts, services, and business development opportunities. Supporting the wider team, including the 3SC Director. always working to a high legal and ethical standard, particularly in relation to issues such as safeguarding and health and wellbeing requirements. Produce copy for the 3SC website and for social media to promote the work of the organisation as and when required. Includes helping to run events. Education /Qualification Level 5 qualification in Coaching, or Teaching qualifications or significant coaching experience. Applications are welcomed from candidates who do not have the above but are ready to work towards obtaining the appropriate qualifications. Skills and Experience Essential A minimum of two years experience in coaching, managing, or working with disadvantaged groups such as people with neurodiversity and mental/physical health issues, prison leavers and those seeking employment. Experience of delivering coaching sessions both online/virtual and face-to-face. Application of professional coaching standards and delivering quality services. Knowledge of motivational techniques and practices used to support vulnerable groups.
