ROLE: Mechanical Test Technician LOCATION: Buckinghamshire TERM: Permanent SALARY: GBP 30,000: GBP 38,000 per annum, depending on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Mechanical Test Technician, who is eager to step up into a Product Development position, to join their team in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis. The Test Technician will ideally have the following attributes: : Experienced in a technical and hands:on Engineering position : Knowledge of compliance and testing : A background in Manufacture : Excellent attention to detail : Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs : Excellent communication skills both verbal and written : Proficient using MS Office : Excellent organisational skills and time management skills : Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi:disciplinary team The Test Technician role will involve: : Mechanical testing and manufacture of a variety of components and equipment : Developing new and existing products : Handling compliance and test specifications : Working to procedures and instructions : Assisting the quality team with functional and visual inspection : Working to procedures and compliance standards : Testing, fault:finding and repair : Using CAD to produce technical drawings, reading, annotating, creating jigs, fixtures, and testing apparatus : Working both independently and in a team : Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
