Work from home, UK client, Full-time, PHP Developer position This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop. The business we are representing, is a fast-growing digital innovator specialising in building and delivering digital software solutions. These solutions empower better self-management and service-management of patients' health and wellbeing. Key points about our client: Work directly with the biggest employer in the UK (The NHS) They are looking to grow their tech team by 8 people this year They are a leading tech business within the healthcare industry! They are looking to make a full time hire for a long term position. Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India Experience: 5 Years Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter) Role and responsibilities Working on our existing platform and managing its on-going development A hand in producing instructional documentation for training and sales Identifying potential areas of risk and bug fixing Product support and enquiry tracking Assisting in the planning, estimation of development time and task / Project breakdowns Required skills and experience Strong working experience with PHP (5 + Years) Symfony and/or Laravel (4+ Years) MySQL (2+ Years) APIs (2+ Years) Desired skills and experience Object oriented (OO) methodologies and design patterns Symfony framework Experience (3 / 4 year of experience) Knowledge and working experience with developing APIs (RESTful, SOAP, JSON or XML) Technical proficiency of web application security Understanding of infosec Knowledge of GIT version control Experience working with GitLab or GitHub Nice to have, experience working with React and CSS Knowledge of PHP modular design using Composer
