They are currently seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for career growth and development.As the Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and accounting activities for the group. Working closely with senior management and finance teams, you will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementation of best practices in financial management.Duties & Responsibilities:Support the production of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Develop the group-level balance sheet reconciliations, including but not limited to external borrowings, and ensure their accuracy and completeness.Assist in the production of the monthly Group consolidation, working closely with other finance team members to gather and validate financial information.Contribute to various ad hoc financial reporting projects as and when required, providing support and analysis to facilitate decision-making processes.Support the management of the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules, liaising with auditors, and addressing audit queries.Implement and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial data and ensure data integrity.Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes.Candidate Requirements:Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA and appreciation of general accountingExperience in group accounting functionStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
