We are working alongside the YMCA St Paul's Group to recruit a Group Director of Property & Places. The role will be to lead on the delivery and development of the Property Development, Facility Management and Health and compliance of YMCA St Paul's Group's businesses, providing expert guidance and advice to others on the Executive Team and the Board of Trustees in these areas.As part of the Executive Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that services, plans and initiatives are in line with the vision, strategy and long-term direction of the Association and appropriate to the YMCA vision, mission and ethos.This role plays a key role in progressing a commercial approach to business strategy, integration and development.The key initial objectives for the Group Director of Property & Places are: To develop a detailed understanding of the Association's development programme, especially YMCA Wimbledon and YMCA Marsham Court (Walthamstow) To develop and lead a cross departmental project team that develops innovative thinking and the property related matters of moving from a centralised corporate office (due to be surrendered in Dec 2021) and into innovative office hubs across SPG sites To ensure continued delivery of the pre-planned capital works for 2021-22 and beyond To ensure continued 100% Health and Safety compliance alongside good risk management as the lift out of lock-down takes place To review the Board approved 2021-24 Strategic Plan and develop a new Asset Management Strategy To work with the Group Director of Operations and Head of Housing, Care and Support in the development of consistent, quality communication of P&P related matters to its residents and customers The successful candidate for the Group Director of Property & Places will have Experience of leading a Property Development/ Asset Management department or holding a senior position in a major organisation Commercial knowledge of managing contracts and asset/facilities management Managed multi-million-pound budgets Prepared and implemented multiyear rolling Capital and Maintenance Programmes Worked with Board committee's stakeholder groups and engaged with resident stakeholders The vision of YMCA St Paul's group is to empower young people by providing the resources and support so they can thrive.
