Job Title:DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer Location: UK/Hybrid Job Type: TP JOB DESCRIPTION: An understanding of infrastructure layers and knowledge across multiple platforms Skill in code development or automation scripting using a language such as Python or Shell Knowledge of the software development lifecycle Ability in using modern infrastructure as code tools Proficiency of the development of CI/CD pipelines Familiarity in software testing practices and tools Strong experience in using observability tools and techniques Experience of working with technology deployed to an on-premises datacentre Public cloud vendor knowledge such as GCP (Google Cloud Platform), AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure Knowledge of "as a Service" modern technology consumption models To be a strong collaborative communicator in articulating technical concepts clearly to your peers and customers Experience of the DevOps mind-set, collaboration, automation, and tooling Example Technologies in demand Programming/Scripting languages - Python, Shell, Kotlin, Java, PowerShell Automation Tooling - Python, Ansible, Puppet, vRealize, TeamCity, Concourse Infrastructure as Code tools - Terraform, Pulumi CI/CD - Bitbucket, Team City, Jira, Gitlab Test Automation - RSpec, Unit test, SonarQube, Coverage Platform – Cloud Foundry (VMWare Tanzu TAS) and Kubernetes (VMWare Tanzu TKGi / OpenShift), VMware, Linux, Windows, Azure/AWS/GCP
