Position Title: Advisor IT - Information Security Delivery Lead Position Type: FTE Position Level: P4 Position Reporting Line: Ben Hall (Governance, Risk and Compliance Lead) Position Location: UK Position Description: Driven by the quickening pace of innovation, Elanco IT must continue to evolve, proactively partnering to create new value through innovative digital products, services, and insights, that unlock new digital business models and power new types of customer engagement. Specifically, Information Security must protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and assets, enabling Elanco to deliver on the brand promise to our stakeholders and customers. The Information Security Delivery Lead role is responsible for coordinating/facilitating the end-to-end delivery of team priorities and business-as-usual product and service enhancements across Information Security. This covers all Information Security towers, including Governance, Risk and Compliance, Architecture and Operations, as well as the growing number of dependencies with delivery and business teams, specifically Ethics & Compliance (e.g., Legal, Privacy, Compliance). The role will work collaboratively with Information Security leadership to coordinate, facilitate, and lead delivery activities, helping to drive focus and discipline towards the stated priorities. The role requires a proven record of enterprise delivery, as well as exceptional organizational and communications skills across multiple levels (e.g., analysts, engineers, and leadership). Position Responsibilities: Project and Change Management * Coordinate and facilitate the planning, design, execution, and transition of new portfolio and business-as-usual initiatives. * Support planning activities, including the creation of objectives and key results, alongside resource and budget management. * Support the creation, review, and approval of documentation, including Policy Directives, Standards, Processes, roadmaps, etc. * Coordinate and facilitate team governance, spanning stand-ups, triage sessions, status updates, risk registers, etc. * Partnering with the Vendor Management Office (VMO), engaging with third-party providers to ensure alignment and execution excellence. * Alignment with IT delivery teams (e.g., TechOps, Digital Products and Engineering), as well as business partners (e.g., Ethics & Compliance). * Proactive engagement with Information Security Operations (Detect and Respond), supporting the incident response processes, alongside early engagement from key stakeholders. Where required, this would include the facilitation of Incident Response Plan activities during high/critical incidents. * Supporting the financial planning for Information Security. * Supporting compliance activities, specifically audit preparation where Information Security is positioned as an outcome. * Owning and administer the Information Security backlog (Monday.com), including dependencies with the IT Portfolio and delivery team frameworks. Stakeholder & Communications Management * Support the Information Security team, acting as a liaison between towers (Governance, Risk and Compliance, Architecture and Operations) and delivery teams. Ensure visibility and clear strategic alignment, acting as the “glue” between towers/teams. * Verification of key stakeholders (including their involvement and requirements) for each initiative. * Resolution of requirements conflict and or additional information from IT delivery teams and/or the business. * Partnership with the Information Security OCM lead on Awareness and Education activities, including initiative specific organisational changes. * Facilitate meetings with key IT or Business resources (e.g. discovery meetings, requirements gathering and incident response, etc.) * Representing the status of information Security initiatives with key forums, ensuring reporting reaches all appropriate stakeholder. * Managing information and consultancy requests, as well as escalation management for key initiatives. * Represent Information Security with key stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact. Where required, deputising at various forums/board. External Focus * Leverage external relationships, standards, and consortia to influence Information Security strategy. * Maintain strong relationships with current and future strategic vendors. * Demonstrate a passion for Information Security, actively build and stay abreast of emerging techniques and technologies, alongside threats, and countermeasures. Position Expertise/Experience: * 3+ years of experience in delivery leadership, managing and advancing complex, global environments. * 3+ years of experience working with delivery methodologies, specifically Agile. * Exceptional organizational and communications skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex topics in a manner that resulted in a definitive direction and result. * Strong facilitation skills. * A passion for Information Security, including the modern techniques and technologies. * Foundational understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks, such as the NIST Cyber Security Framework, as well as the concepts associated with Zero Trust. * Foundational understanding of enterprise risk and compliance, experience working with corporate audit services in a regulated business. Including a basic understanding of audit practices. * Experience defining and executing large-scale plans. * Expertise working in complex, diverse landscapes (business, technology, regulatory, partners, providers, geographies). * Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and self-manage. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity and/or Information Technology. Other Information: Occasional travel may be required.
