The role will involve assembly & testing of...We are currently recruiting for Hydraulic Testers to work on site at our clients offices in Yeovil. The role will involve assembly & testing of Hydraulic Aerospace equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer / Regulator Requirements, working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead. The position of Hydraulic Tester holds the following responsibilities: Producing product to engineering drawings and instructions Mechanical fitting & testing of Hydraulic systems OCQ Operator Control of Quality i.e. Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies are to Customer standards. To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the requiredstandard Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentationprocedures Working effectively in a lean environment. Qualifications & Experience Required For a Hydraulics tester: Engineering Apprenticeship Desirable but not Essential Knowledge of Mechanical Fitting Applications Knowledge of pressure testing High standard of Health & Safety Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets Working with Designers and Engineers Attributes/Skills Required for a Hydraulics Tester: The position requires the applicant to have an understanding of Aerospace practiceand the significance of the safety critical work undertaken Manufacturing experiencealso considered PC literate Ability to read and follow instructions The applicant should be able to display essential skills in the adherence to Health &Safety standards at all times, teamwork, flexibility and the ability to use initiative Continuous Improvement Any further training requirements will be provided:- PC skills, Manual Handling,5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety This position is subject to meeting the eligibility conditions of Export Control Licenses and Technical Assistant Agreements.You will also be required to perform a security clearance and drug test prior to starting If you are interested in applying for the role or want mor information please call Ian at Holt Recruitment on 0773XXXXXX.
