Deputy ManagerSolihull40 hours per week£28,000 - £34,000Experienced Deputy Manager required for award winning care provider based in Worcester.My client prides themselves on delivering quality care and support to each service user.Service supports adults with acquired brain injuries, physical and learning disabilities.Your main responsibility is to support and work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure that the highest standards of care and support are provided to the residents, fully promoting autonomy, participation and self-care.Primary tasks -Support the transition of new residentsFollow company and governing body processes and proceduresTo communicate effectively with all stakeholders and ensure all team members maintain a good standard of communication.To actively promote positive behaviour within the resident group and to liaise with other professionals including, behavioural and management teams to address issues when they arise.Administer medication and deliver the highest standard of personal care to residents when appropriately trained to do so in line with National Star policy and procedures.Required -Relevant qualification at level 3 or above in health or social careMinimum 2 years’ experience in residential care plus a minimum of 1 year at a level which includes staff managementCommitment and enthusiasm for providing outstanding care & support to and young adults with disabilities.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business, that offers clear career progression and values its staff.For more information, please call Rhys Jones in the Safehands, Cheltenham office.INDPERM
