Role: AutoCAD Technician Salary: GBP 30,000: GBP 35,000 per annum Type: Permanent Location: Milton Keynes My client design and manufacture a range of retail displays and furniture . They are looking to take on a CAD Technician, on a permanent basis, in Milton Keynes. The AutoCAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes: : Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering subject : Graduate level will be considered as well as those with 2:5 years' or more of industry experience working in a CAD / design role : Experience in joinery : Good attention to detail : Knowledge of CAD software : Inventor or Solidworks : Proficient with using Microsoft Office programmes : Excellent communication skills : Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team : Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad : Someone who is keen to progress and develop with a company long term The AutoCAD Technician role will involve: : Working as part of the Drawing Office : Supporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teams : Working to produce drawings using AutoCAD : Creating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standards : Keeping on top of project schedules : Checking and reviewing drawings If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
