The Role: Fire and DSEAR AdvisorLocation: Somerset, UKSector: Facilities ManagementSalary: Up to A GBP 50,000 per annum DOE Are you an expert in fire safety and DSEAR regulations? Do you thrive on ensuring safety and compliance in the workplace? We want you What Youll Do: * Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations* Provide expert advice on DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) to ensure workplace safety* Develop and implement fire safety and DSEAR policies and procedures* Train and mentor staff on fire safety and DSEAR best practices* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all statutory requirements are met What Were Looking For: * Extensive experience in fire safety and DSEAR management* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices* Excellent communication and training skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Detail:oriented with strong analytical skills The Ideal candidate: * Professional certifications in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety (CFPA, NEBOSH Fire Certificate, Level 4 Diploma).* Minimum GIFireE qualification or equivalent with a background in Fire Safety Management.* Membership of relevant bodies (e.g., NAHFO, IFE, IFSM, IOSH).* Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments and inspections.* Experience in Hazardous Area Classification* Detailed knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and regulations.* Experience with DSEAR/ATEX Risk Assessments and hazardous area classification.
