Racing Trader - Mid-Level (Hybrid London) This is a new team within Metric. We are launching our product with our new partners and as part of this team, traders will establish bespoke racing strategies with our partners for real-time liability control and price management; always ensuring we have a market leading racing offering. You will work as a trader in a fast-paced environment, looking at real-time bet analysis, supporting in profiling, noting and behavioural analysis. This is a great time to be joining Metric. Some work on a hybrid basis in London and others work remotely. Your day-to-day On a daily basis, you will manage and prioritise content, pinpoint gaps in Metric’s offerings, provide competitor analysis, and identify opportunities and innovations in the marketplace to create market-leading features. The key to this position is that it requires a talented individual with strong racing knowledge, keen to work together with their colleagues to provide a first-rate service in a consistent and reliable manner. A keen interest in Horse Racing, or has previously worked as a Junior Trader or in a similar betting role. Proven experience as a previous Junior/Racing Trader or in a similar role. Good knowledge of UK and International Horse Racing. Excellent IT/software knowledge including advanced level Excel skills Excellent communication, process driven and extremely well organised. The ability to work during key racing festivals, weekends and bank holidays are essential. A strong work ethic, self-motivated , able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
