The role is hybrid. Typically 1 day a week in the office, then operating from home when not attending site visits. THE TELECOMS ENGINEER ROLE: : Installation and configuration ofNEC, 3CX and Sangoma PBX systems, for which training will be provided, : Installationand configuration ofadd:onsoftware, andinstallation and configuration ofhandsets and other networking ancillary hardware, includingSangoma SIP to ISDN bridges. : Ifyou are interested, you can also gain experience and training in Gamma and Univerge hosted solutions. : Offer field support and configuration of Samsung, Panasonic, 3CX, AudiCodes and NEC hardware in the execution of our maintenance contracts, as well as some limited amounts of cable installation as required. : When not deployed on sitethere would be some requirement for servicingtickets allocated to you of asecond linesupport nature. KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Experienced in telephone PBX installation across a range of media (ISDN30, PSTN, IP, SIP) : Sound understanding of IP networking, the concept of firewall ports and router configuration, : Perform a field installation and support role, working under the auspices of the Principal Engineer.
