We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to become an integral part of our maintenance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on machinery maintenance and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment.Preventive Maintenance: Execute planned preventive maintenance PPM tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.Breakdown Response: Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing issues to restore normal operations.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment performance and overall production efficiency.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations. Working Hours: Shift Pattern: Double days Monday to Friday with flexibility required Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, though candidates from other industries are welcome.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance practices.Engineering Discipline: Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.Problem-Solving Skills: Effective troubleshooting abilities for mechanical and electrical issues.Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
