Experience: Extensive experience in facilities management within the NHS or healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, NHS standards, and facilities management best practices. Experience implementing electronic meal ordering systems Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all facilities services, including estates maintenance, domestic services, portering, security, catering, and waste management.Develop and implement facilities management strategies that align with the Trust's goalsEnsure the efficient and effective delivery of all facilities services, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across the Trust.Oversee the maintenance and repair of hospital buildings and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.Manage contracts and relationships with external service providers and contractors, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery.Support the implementation of a new electronic meal ordering systemProduce regular reports on a timely basis and to a high standardEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, NHS standards, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, infection control, and environmental sustainability.Lead on the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to facilities management.Act as the principal point of contact for facilities-related issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns.
