JOB : Automation Engineer LOCATION : Peterborough TERM : Permanent SALARY : Competitive depending on experience My client, a Peterborough based manufacturing company are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualifications or relevant discipline. : Previous experience with Control Systems in an industrial/ manufacturing setting. : Good software knowledge : Siemens, Allen Bradley etc. : Strong communication skills. : Ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Automation Engineer's duties will involve: : Development of control systems from specification through to testing and commissioning. : Providing support to other engineers when required and working closely with Project Managers to ensure everything is to customer standards. : Maintaining documentation. : Ensuring budgets are met. : Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.
