ROLE : Product Design Engineer LOCATION : Bristol TERM : Permanent SALARY : GBP 30,000 to GBP 40,000 per annum Premier Group are currently recruiting for a Product Designer to join the design team of a company working within the design of a range of products going into multiple industries. You will be taking a leading role on the projects and assuming a large amount of responsibility. The materials in use would be a mix of metal, plastic, wood as well as design for 3D printing. Ideally, we would like you to: : Be skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) : Be able to create models / prototypes : Be technically minded : Have a product design/ engineering related degree : Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion : Strong Design for Manufacture skills Responsibilities: : Develop your ideas from concept to production. : Sketch ideas and develop concepts. : Create models/prototypes. : Do market research, visit clients and listen to their feedback. : Use all manufacturing processes. : View and review tooling trials : potential for overseas travel. : Quality test new products If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up:to:date CV as soon as possible :
