This is an important post, raising the profile to young people in care and ensuring their voices inform practice. The opportunity is open to workers who can demonstrate that they have a knowledge of the particular challenges facing children in care and care leavers. Do you have experience working with children or young people? Are you enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate about ensuring young people get a say in the decisions that affect their lives? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team and support the growth and development of our participation service. You will be supporting the work of the Children in Care Council and Care Leavers Advisory Group, enabling young people to have a say in the services provided for them. We want you to be creative in designing how we work to enhance young people's participation, and build on all the good work that has been done to date, working alongside children and young people and the networks supporting them.
