What’s in it for you as a Maintenance Planner:- Salary circa £53,500 + Excellent Pension- 25 days leave & statutory holidays- Hours of work – 39 hrs Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm and Friday 8am – 3:30pm- Working as part of a world-class maintenance and manufacturing team, driving up standards - Job security and personal development within a market-leading, international manufacturing organisation.Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:- To support a detailed maintenance program within the maintenance planning team.- Working to improve plant reliability and continually improving Maintenance Systems.- Working with the Engineering team across multi disciplines to assess, plan, procure, pre kit and plan and manage external contractor for all maintenance activities.- Playing a key role in the assessment of maintenance notifications and shutdown scopes of work to provide detailed information to ensure efficient, cost effective and reliable execution of all maintenance tasks.- Produce timely assessment and analysis of notifications and scopes of work for the Maintenance Engineering team to assist with decision-making around plant priorities, improving equipment reliability and forecast expenditure through well-planned work packages.- Create financially loaded work packages for daily and shutdown planning to allow the planning team to accurately forecast expenditure.- Support, execute and enforce all Maintenance Strategies and policies, to optimize task execution and improve reliability at the manufacturing plant. - Support the coordination for the planning of the annual shutdown to ensure plans are developed that are safe while optimizing efficiency.- Attend maintenance planning meetings with Supervisors and Engineers to input technical detail to the planning process from data gathered during the assessment process of maintenance notifications and scopes of work.- We welcome applications from individuals who have experience from Maintenance Planners, Project Engineers or Surveyors.Experience and Qualifications Required for the Maintenance Planner:- Mechanical / Electrical Technician - Previous maintenance planning experience- Drawing using Autocad – desirable - CDM Management - desirable- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above qualification e.g. HNC, HND or Degree - Mechanical or Electrical If you are interested, please apply now…
