National Supervisor, Coventry - £40,000 (Of which an average of £8,000 is expected from OOH payments) Permanent / Full time. Additional out-of-hours payment Monday Friday. Occasional Weekend work. Location Coventry / Midlands Benefits: Free or subsisted travel Company vehicle with fuel card £500 refer a friend scheme. All tools provided. All necessary training provided. All PPE provided. My client has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, full-time position to work out of their depot at Coventry. Being located within 45 minutes from their Coventry depot is essential, however, you must be able to be flexible as this role will require you to often work nights & occasionally stay away from home. What will you be doing? They are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Supervisor to play a pivotal role in their operations division. Reporting directly to the National Installations Manager, the National Supervisor will oversee a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency within the installations team across the UK. Roles and Responsibilities: Operational Support: Collaborate closely with the National Installations Manager to streamline day-to-day operations, providing both direct and indirect supervision to teams dispersed across multiple locations. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire small teams on site, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough ladder and harness checks, meticulously recording findings to uphold stringent safety protocols and compliance standards. Performance Management: Assist in tracking and managing team punctuality and efficiency, offering guidance and support where necessary to optimize productivity levels. Site Management: Evaluate site reports and execute remedial actions as needed, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues or discrepancies. On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent matters outside of regular business hours, demonstrating readiness to respond to emergency situations promptly. Health and Safety Advocacy: Collaborate with management to develop and enforce comprehensive health and safety protocols throughout the division, prioritizing the well-being of their personnel and stakeholders. Installation Expertise: Provide hands-on support for on-site installation, maintenance, and decommissioning activities, leveraging technical proficiency and industry expertise to deliver exceptional results Additional shift payments include: Monday Thursday night additional £60 per shift Friday Night Sat or Sun at any time additional £90 per shift. What we are looking for: The role will require you to be flexible as the service they provide is available to clients 24hrs/365 days a year. And, as such will involve you working days, nights, occasional weekends and working away from home. You could be requested to attend any site throughout the UK. For the role of national supervisor, my client are looking for someone who has and can demonstrate the following attributes: Professionalism Strong problem-solving skills. Is a clear leader & good at motivating themselves and a team. Confident at driving long distances (Towing occasionally if needed) Keen eye for detail. Good approach to customer service Good initiative and determination Essential: A reliable, flexible, and mature individual Comfortable working at heights Full driving license with a maximum of 3 points Experienced in leading and managing teams Organized and punctual. Willingness to travel and work nights. Desired: Working in a Highways environment Traffic Signals background CSCS cardholder IPAF Trained Hold an NPOR competency card Hold Forklift License You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role
