The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of finished products, and maximizing efficiency while minimizing costs. The Production Planner will collaborate closely with various departments to maintain seamless operations throughout the production cycle the Production Planner role is located in Halifax The Production Planner key responsibilities: Develop schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines.Analyse data to identify opportunities for optimisation and process improvement.Maintain accurate records of activities and performance metrics.Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on production status and address any issues or concerns.Implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.Ensure inventory levels are accurate and organise stock checks as and when requiredEnsuring all health and safety regulations are followed and recorded in the production department For the Production Planner role, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess: Previous experience working in a similar role Planning, Scheduling, Coordinating etc. within an Engineering or Manufacturing environmentStrong IT skills with the ability to pick up new processes and procedures quickly with initial guidancePrevious experience using ERP systems/software Working hours of the Production Planner: 37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift Flexible hours In return the Production Planner will receive: Annual Salary: £30,000.- £32000Auto-enrolment to company pension after initial probationOptional Simply Healthcare plans24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for employees & immediate familyStable employment that will offer long-term career opportunities To apply for this Production planner, please click the “APPLY NOW” button and attach a copy of your CV.
