You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This hospital provides fast access to expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress To be considered for this position you must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HCPC registration As an Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include: You will support our patients to engage in self-care, productive and recreational groupsPlanning and facilitation of 1:1 and group interventionsYou will work alongside the Occupational Therapist and members of the multidisciplinary team to identify the patients' Occupational NeedsYou will be responsible for observing, recording and reporting Patients involvement in 1:1s and groupsYou will observe and monitor the well-being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to more senior staff and documented as appropriateYou will be required to ensure the effective, timely and accurate updating of clinical records and computerised information systems The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health ActPatient centric & commitment to delivering high quality careFine tuned decision making skillsExcellent organisational capabilityEffective communication skills The successful Occupational Therapist you will receive an excellent salary of £26,500 - £36,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
