The postholder will work alongside the Head of Finance and will oversee a team of up to 6 FTE within the Childrens Finance function. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the budget management of the service including the setting and monitoring of budgets. They will also act as the service advisor, providing expert financial knowledge to senior members of the team. Candidate Criteria Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with extensive PQEExperience of working with a Childrens/Schools Finance team within a Local Authority/Government settingExperience of budget management including forecasting and monitoringExperience of managing a team within a Local Government finance settingGreat communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team If you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who may be, please contact Greg at Service Care Solutions on 01772 XXXXXX or email XXXX@servicecare.org.ukService Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus So, if you know of anyone who would be perfect for this position and they are placed into work, you will receive £250 for the referral once their probationary period has been completed.
