E C&I Technician to join one of the leading consumer goods manufacturers based in West Yorkshire for a salary up to £46,000 per annum plus the opportunity for Overtime and also a call out pay at a minimum of 4 hours double time.The company is a globally operating manufacturer supplying a stable sector. The labour turnover within the company is low due to the opportunities they offer their employees alongside a fantastic working environment.To be successful in this position as a E C&I Technician you will need to have qualified to HNC, HND or degree level in electrical, electronic or control engineering. You must understand in-depth knowledge of applicable legislation including HaSaWA, COMAH, DSEAR, CompEx and relevant HSE Codes of Practice.Responsibilities of a E C&I Technician Plan, prioritise and carry out inspection, design, maintenance and testing in accordance with the planned maintenance management system.Have the relevant E C&I Technician expertise to make an immediate positive impact on the performance of the manufacturing plants.Have the ability to work on both a macro and micro scale as the work requires it, and be able to balance the varied demands of many internal customers on and off the productions units.Balance a range of technical responsibilities.Ability to implement Process Improvement Techniques.Experience of effectively manage sub-contractors.
