The mechanical maintenance engineer will be responsible for planning and carrying out preventative planned maintenance and reactive repairs associated with the sites production facility. Competitive salary and great benefits: 23 Days Holiday per annumCompany pensionPrivate medical insuranceLife assurance scheme @ 3x annual salaryCycle to work scheme open twice a yearAdditional payment and long service days after 5 years service Mechanical Maintenance Engineer key duties: - Carry out routine / preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the plant in a safe and efficient manner.- Respond to plant breakdowns as required.- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance associated with the plant preventative maintenance system FSI.- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.- Ensure all H&S procedures, including permit to work, are adhered to.- Assist in the preparation / implementation of RAMS, necessary to carry out each task.- Comply with Health and Safety requirements, as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc. - Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to line manager. - Attend training as required to maintain personal qualifications/competence. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer other duties include: - Carry out any reasonable duties as identified by your line manager or team leader - Positively represent ICL to our customers and suppliers - Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations. - Ensure compliance with our ISO standards. - Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes. - Maximise own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilising best skills and available technology. - Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
