Company Name: Sport ERP Job Role: Frontend UX/UI developer with React.js and React native Roles, Responsibilities and Daily Tasks: Listed in order of importance: Lead the frontend development for the system using React.js and React Native Be responsible for the alignment of the development components to the design system components via Storyboard Communication with the rest of the technical skills based on agile and/or kanban methodology Developing and maintaining the frontend web and native applications Essential Technical Skills: Include the minimum number of years of experience with each skill (eg. React, 3 years) and list in order of importance: Minimum of 5 years of React.js Minimum of 3 years of React Native Proficiency of building native applications Proficiency on UX flows and work with Figma/Adobe XD What is the % split between Front-end and Back-end work? (If not relevant please ignore) Essential Experience: Technical skills aside, what are the main things you are looking for when hiring for this role? Communication Product development orientation Critical thinking Key Question: From a technical and business perspective, what does success look like for this hire? Find someone who can lead the new frontend stack based on React and React Native, working closely with the main CPO and the Solution Architect to deliver this frontend to all users and take ownership of this area Desired Experience and Skills: Understanding and building MVP products based on one lean process. Understanding industry standards in solution architecture will be considered a strong positive. Understanding business and consultancy processes will help as well. Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years, Senior Engineer Size of Team: Business size: 7 Technical team size: 5 Other: Question: "Can you describe a complex React.js project you worked on? What were some of the advanced features or techniques you implemented in this project?" Answer: Candidates should discuss a project where they used advanced React.js concepts such as higher-order components, hooks, context API, or suspense. They should explain the problem they were solving, how they implemented these features, and the impact on the project's performance or user experience. Question: "What is your approach to handling platform-specific code in React Native applications? Can you provide an example of a challenge you faced with platform specificity and how you resolved it?" Answer: Look for answers that detail the use of the Platform API, conditional rendering, or separate files for iOS and Android. Candidates should describe specific instances where they had to tailor solutions to each platform, such as dealing with different navigation patterns or integrating with platform-specific APIs. Question: "How do you translate UX designs from tools like Figma or Adobe XD into functional React or React Native components? Can you describe a project where alignment between the design and final product was crucial?" Answer: Candidates should discuss their workflow for taking UX/UI designs and implementing them accurately in code. This might include how they handle component styling, responsiveness, and interaction states. They could also mention collaboration with UX designers, the use of style guides, or maintaining consistency across different screens and devices.
