Technical Manager (Food / Quality) Nantwich A GBP 48,000 to A GBP 54,000 DOE + Company Pension + Free Parking + Gym Membership + Employee Discounts + Life Insurance Monday to Friday 42 Hours per Week : 08:30 to 17:00 Technical Manager required for a fast:growing food manufacturer in Nantwich. This is a great opportunity to join a well:established company whilst playing an integral role within the business. for this role you will have experience working within the food industry as you will need a working knowledge of BRC compliance and audits. Experienced Technical Managers as well Technical Leads, Quality Managers, Supervisors or similar will all be suited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of three and will be responsible for managing and overseeing everything related to Quality Assurance on site. This will involve ensuring existing standards, based from HACCP, BRC, and Customer COP requirements, are maintained, and will champion continuous improvement. The Technical Manager Role: A Manage QA activities on site, including ensuring food safety is managed effectively A Ensure the laboratory operates in line with customer COP requirements A Working with HACCP principles and BRC standards A Define and manage internal auditing system A Assessment of quality performance, complaints, non:conformances, and trends, through the development of measuring capabilities A Management of a team of three A Pest control management A Management of all external shelf life samples (for launched products) A Ensure measuring equipment critical to food safety is calibrated correctly The Technical Manager Candidate: A Experience in the food industry A Aware of BRC standards A Interest in food safety A Leadership experience A Experience working with retailer quality systems
