Are you a qualified CAD Design Technician, looking for an opportunity to join an established business, that offers training in the mechanical design of HVAC systems ? Job title: Trainee / Junior CAD Technician Sector: Building Services : HVAC / Mechanical Sector Location: Albrighton, Wolverhampton Salary and Package: A GBP 25,000 to A GBP 30,000 dependent upon qualification / experience The Opportunity To join a growing, successful National HVAC / Mechanical Contractor, working within the Building Services sector, with offices based in South Wales, Wolverhampton and London, and a client base largely from repeat custom, maintaining longstanding relationships, based upon the technical expertise provided. An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Trainee / Junior CAD Technician, to work with the Design / Technical team. The successful applicant will be able to: * Produce 2D CAD layouts from design sketches created by other team members.* Modify customer drawings and layouts.* Import manufacturers information into working drawings (blocks and schedules).* Liaise with Engineers / Project Managers for drawing requirements, plotting drawings for issue and recording all drawing information received from outside sources.* Ensure the correct level and accuracy of technical content on all projects.* Work on a variety of projects within the commercial and industrial fields.* Contribute to the delivery of projects within the team and within program. The applicant must possess: * Knowledge of AutoCAD gained through qualification.* Building Services experience (desirable).* Knowledge of VRF, ductwork and pipework layouts (desirable).* Self:motivation and capacity to work to deadlines and timescales.* An organised approach and positive outlook with the ability to work on own initiative.* Good verbal, written and IT communication skills. Other attributes: * Ability to liaise with clients operational staff and present a professional image. Salary * A GBP 25,000 to A GBP 30,000 depending on experience.
