Ideally, you will be a ‘hands-on’, commissioning biased Project Engineer who will work on pre & post sales and project support such as installation, and commissioning for Autodent & Track & Trace products. Key responsibilities for the Project Engineer - Field based: Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of FA/LA Factory Automation/Logistics AutomationProducts and supply support for these products Carrying out onsite installation & commissioningAs a primary function. carry out preventive maintenance, support, repair, and breakdown visits as a secondary function. Both aspects will Include travel, stay away over night or, on Occasion, work at weekendsCarrying out all aspects of system installation, commissioning and support Essential Skills, Experience & Competencies for the Project Engineer - Field based: Minimum – BTEC in Electrical & Electronic Engineer or equivalentExperience of working in a customer project environment with commercial awareness of project costs and timelinesExperience in commissioning using GUI Graphical User InterfaceExperience of Auto Ident or Vision applications in the UK, desirable You must have a UK Driving Licence.
