You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers This service provides specialist Neuro behavioural rehabilitation, for those with an acquired brain injury ABI, including traumatic brain injury TBI and stroke, or a progressive neurological condition PNC To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin As a Nurse your key duties will include: Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admissionContributing to a holistic plan of care in partnership with the individualContributing to a positive risk management planFollowing induction, monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within an evidence based framework with support from a senior nursePrioritising, organising, and deploying under direction, resources to meet the requirements of the ward for the duration of a shiftCommitting to the promotion of basic living skills within a rehabilitation settingContributing to the delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions as agreed by the trans-disciplinary team The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Completion of pre-registration courseSelf-motivatedPositive role modelDrive to take responsibility for personal learning and developmentA focus on patient centred careAbility to understand the need to be a team playerAbility to problem solves and has a solution focused approach. The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £27,300 - £30,000 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
