Systems Engineer (Defence and Marine) : Bristol Area : Attractive Were looking for full:time talented Systems Engineers with industry experience to join our clients Systems and Safety team supporting key Defence and Marine projects in the engineering and technology markets. These hybrid roles will be based in Bristol with occasional travel to clients sites as required; however, as part of their commitment to flexible working, employees can sometimes work remotely, and your starting salary is competitive. As a Systems Engineer (Defence and Marine), you will support key Defence and Marine projects As part of the Systems and Safety team, Systems Engineers are responsible for the delivery of systems support to our business and our clients. This includes activities such as: * Elicitation of system/equipment level requirements from customer requirements* Supporting design, development and certification activities, including V and V (Validation and Verification)* Preparation and checking of documentation for the design process* Running/supporting/attending internal/external design reviews* Supporting certification planning activities, test analysis and documentation. for this Systems Engineer (Defence and Marine) role, you must be degree:qualified in a related discipline. You will also require the following: * Platform/system/equipment design and development for marine programmes* Ideally Marine and Defence systems architecture, modelling, design/testing* Control systems/safety:related software* CADMID and Engineering life:cycle* Requirements Based Engineering* MBSE : Model Based Systems Engineering* DOORS and Safety Critical Components* Defence Standards and Mil Stds e.g.* Ability to contribute to activities within a team environment including: work package creation, task management and delivery* Working within a quality system environment, such as AS9100, ISO9001 As a vital team member and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, well provide a favourable salary that is competitive and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.
