Company Name: Appoly Job Title: Web Developer (Mid-senior) Roles, Responsibilities and Daily Tasks: Listed in order of importance: Develop and maintain web applications in Laravel/PHP Work with mobile teams, or clients to design and implement new features Support junior developers in the team Troubleshoot and debug software applications Essential Technical Skills: Include the minimum number of years of experience with each skill (eg. React, 3 years) and list in order of importance: Laravel (3 years) PHP (5 years) AWS (2 years) VueJS (2 years) What is the % split between Front-end and Back-end work? 70% Back-end, 30% Front-end Essential Experience: Technical skills aside, what are the main things you are looking for when hiring for this role? Strong communication skills Understands and can meet deadlines Attention to detail and ability to follow specifications Key Question: From a technical and business perspective, what does success look like for this hire? An individual with both Laravel knowledge and a strong programming background, with an understanding of software development principles. Someone who is able to deliver high-quality work, on budget. A solid communicator, both internally and with clients; should be able to set expectations and keep others informed of progress or issues. Desired Experience and Skills: Strong database skills (Primarily MySQL) Knowledge of Linux and Ubuntu Experience of configuring servers and being responsible for deploying applications Experience with other programming languages is beneficial Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Size of Team: Business size: ~30 Technical team size: ~20 Other:
