Company Name:Amperative (this is our trading name, our company registered name is Worthers ltd)Job Title:Full Stack DeveloperRoles and Responsibilities:Key role will be main developer on various projects, each normally lasting a few months. You will however be part of a small team with a mixture of other devs, a technical lead and project manager. You will be connected to our team (using online chat, project management tools, video calls and regular check in?s).We are also looking for:Proactivity in organising own time within project and task requirementsGood attention to detail with a desire for producing excellent codeAbility to troubleshoot but also ask others when blocked/stuckGood understanding of writing robust, readable codeCare in first testing own code before submittingAppreciation of system design and overall architectureDesire to learn and grow skills and knowledge within a team learning contextContribute to the team?s best practice in relation to coding principles, standards and methodsWillingness to help with support of existing sites and applications as neededAbility to contribute to requirements specifications (level of detail dependent on scale of project)Essential Experience and Skills:*List in order of importanceMobile App development using Expo / React NativeLaravel framework / PHPJavascript mainly VueJS 2/3 but willing to adopt new frameworks if required.Tailwind CSSDeveloping RestFul APIsMySQLLAMP stackDesired Experience and Skills:Eye for good UI design when building frontend (although we also have designers involved in this)Ability to use Figma (mainly used by our UX/UI designers)Progressive Web App developmentComposer package managementDeployer.org experienceExperience in test driven development is advantageousExperience and knowledge of using and administering Linux serversDesired Years of Experience:At least 2-3 yrs React NativeAt least 2-4 yrs LaravelOther:We work with several non profit organisations some of which are christian faith-based non profit?s. Whilst there is no faith requirement, we like to highlight this aspect to ensure candidates don?t have any personal issues working on projects for some of these organisations. Our projects are often interesting and have great social impact.
