Employment Type – TP , 6 months contract Location – UK, London Onsite working Salary – 600 GBP /Day (Max. rate , Inside IR35) -with margin Onsite position (Initial remote can be expected ) Client – DB Job Title Corporate Title Senior ULL DevOps Engineer Department FIC Technology Location London Overview Under FIC Technology, the Core Trading Technology team is responsible for infrastructure, middleware and software used by our front office aligned application teams across a multitude of product areas (FX, Rates, Credit, Listed Derivatives, Clearing). Core Trading bridges the gap between our application, client services and other core infrastructure teams; ultimately enabling FIC Technology to establish a homogenous operating environment for the domain. Overview This role is for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help manage our Ultra Low Latency trading environment and take on several critical projects with Board level visibility. Key responsibilities Estate management for ULL Trading environment. Work with Unix SAs to procure, build, install, tune servers Write custom scripts to facilitate an automated deployment of new versions of software across the Linux environment Troubleshoot complex network and OS issues across a global multicast network Create application specific scripts to handles needs such as archiving Administration of SLDC tools (TeamCity, Artifactory, JIRA, Splunk, Ansible) You will have Minimum 5 years work experience as Systems Administrator or applications support role with advanced level skills in Linux. Previous experience working in a ULL trading/technology group a big plus. Advanced level shell programming required, Perl/python required Advanced level knowledge of System and Network monitoring/troubleshooting. Corvil experience desireable Some knowledge of databases, ex Oracle, Postgres Experience with Splunk and Ansible a big plus. You will be An excellent communicator with the ability to distill complex technical problems to easily understandable statements for both a technical and non-technical audience Enthusiastic about collaborating daily in a global team
