Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Good Communication and Stakeholder management Engage with leadership and opco in strategic discussions Design and Implement cloud data platform and cloud related architectures using AWS Services Design solution leveraging Snowflake native capabilities Design the data model using Data Vault data modeling concepts Design and Implement Snowflake – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts DevOps: Appreciates the CI and CD model and always builds to ease consumption and monitoring of the system. Experience with Maven and Git preferred. Architect Data & analytic's offerings and assets in conjunction with Opco stakeholders Key Skills/Knowledge: Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques using Python Expertise in building the Data Vault modelling. Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills Working knowledge in Agile and traditional SDLC project execution methodologies Hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of AWS, including experience migrating data applications to AWS. Experience required: The following are the key experience expected Prior experience in implementing large-scale snowflake databases Prior experience in migrating data from traditional/cloud sources to Snowflake Prior experience in building the Data Vault data model (Data Vault 2.0) Proficient in AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Snowflake on AWS AWS Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Data Analytics. Experience in building and delivering proofs-of-concept, in order to address specific business needs, using the most appropriate techniques, data sources and technologies.
