Our goal is to transform independent travellers’ trips thanks to our network of local hosts. Each experience helps our guests to discover the heart of the city like they would with a local friend by their side. *The internship* Are you passionate about travel and want to get first-hand work experience in a great environment? As 2020 begins, we are preparing to launch several new cities and are looking for an intern to help us in the Marketing and the Host recruitment departments. Your time will be split daily between the two teams and missions. You will support the host recruitment team as we prepare to launch 3 new cities in Italy, and will help the marketing team to create and improve their visual content library for existing and new cities. Both projects will take place for a minimum of 5 weeks with the possibility to extend and work on more projects in the two teams. This is a full-time internship during which we will pay for lunch and travel expenses up to £250/month (£5/lunch + monthly travel card reimbursed). This is a great opportunity to join a multi-cultural team at an exciting time in our Vauxhall office. You will work closely with the Host Recruitment team, Marketing team and get hands-on experience in host recruitment processes and visual content management processes. *Missions with the Host Recruitment team* - Reviewing host applications the team receive for our position of city host in Naples, Venice and Florence - Inviting applicants that meet host requirements set out by the team to complete the second stage of the application - Uploading all videos the team receive to Google drive - Thanking all hosts for sharing a video and inviting those that meet host requirements to an in-city training day with the city guru - Inviting all successful hosts to sign T+C's - Monitoring applicant queries and answering general new host queries - Keeping track of all applicants and the stage they reach in the application process *Missions with the Marketing team* - Creating a well-organised visual content library with our existing photography and video - Sorting the existing photography and video folders and separating content that can be used from content that doesn’t meet quality standards for the Visual Content team to review - Renaming and tagging the best photos and videos so they are SEO-optimised standards - Assisting the Visual Content Executive in scheduling photoshoots, liaising with the photographer as well as with models Qualifications - Second-year student or recent graduate (ideally a humanities-based subject) - Confident written and spoken English - Passionate about travel and learning more about working in the travel industry - Previous experience working in an administrative role a plus but not essential - Knowledge of Italian/Italy a plus but not essential Start date as soon as possible.
