Job Title: Sous ChefH&C Solutions are delighted to offer this fantastic opportunity to join this stunning gastro pub which is in the heart of Wimbledon. Our client is an award-winning neighbourhood gastro pub, serving high quality modern European dishes, using the very latest equipment and cooking techniques. They have an intimate set up – only 80 seats - and guests are spoilt for choice with a selection of authentic, highly presented dishes along with a wine pairing list. There is strong emphasis on quality led service and they are fortunate to have a super supportive management team.Sous Chef Benefits:Working for an independent gastro pub with a long-standing reputation as the local go to.Competitive starting salary - £35,000 package + bonuses + service chargeYou will receive guidance and support from an influential Head Chef.You will work 48 hours per week.Lunch and dinner served from midday until 9pm.Latest finish is 11pmWimbledon location.Sous Chef Requirements:A Sous Chef with experience working within a similar style of establishment.The ideal Sous Chef will have at least 3 years’ experience and be confident and leading a team through a busy service.This role would suit a strong Chef de Partie looking for their first step up into management.They are seeking a Sous Chef who is reliable, competent and enjoys training junior members of team.
